Real Life’s Children’s Ministry will be meeting at Ocean Breeze Water Park for a day of fun on August 16th at 10am. The group-rate tickets are $20 and the sign up sheet will be out in July. Those who are season pass holders do not need to sign up.

Camp Rudolph

If you’re a rising 4th or 5th grader this announcement is for you! Real Life will be taking rising 4th and 5th graders to Camp Rudolph July 5th – 10th. This year’s theme is “Camp Rock 2012″ and the cost is $200. To sign up and get more information visit the Camp Rudolph website.

SKY VBS

This year’s VBS is on July 23-27 from 9am – 12pm at Real Life Centerville. The theme is SKY and it is dedicated to helping kids discover that by trusting God everything is possible. It is for children from the age of 3 to those just finishing 5th grade. It will be packed with worship, interactive bible stories, games, snacks and much more! The missions focus this year is Crisis Pregnancy Center. Sign up online or in the lobby.

Sandbridge Beach Day

The Children’s Ministry will be getting together for an afternoon at the beach. We will be meeting at Sandbridge on July 3 from 1pm-4pm. No sign up is necessary. Just pack your picnic, grab a towel and come out for some beach fun!

LAUNCH Atlanta

If you’re a rising 7^th, 8^th, or 9^th grader this trip is for you! For the summer of 2012, we will partner with Jesus Place, a local homeless outreach in Atlanta (jesusplace.com), Atlanta Christian College, Christian City, a local assisted living home for children (chrisitancity.org) and more to challenge and inspire our middle school students to turn the world upside down and bring justice to the world around them. This week promises to be one of hard work, inspiring experience and a lot of fun. We will visit the World-of-Coke, Stone Mountain, Centennial Park, Six Flags and other notable places in Atlanta (original Chik-Fil-A, The Varsity, CNN Center and more).

TOTAL COST

- $315
Deposit of $150 due Sunday, May 20th
Trip must be paid off by Sunday, June 17th

ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE

We will leave for Atlanta on Wednesday, June 27th at 8am from Real Life Centerville (900. N. Centerville Tnpk Chesapeake, VA 23320) and arrive in Atlanta around 8pm that evening. We will make our way back from Atlanta at 8am on Monday, July 2nd and be back at Real Life Centerville around 8pm that evening. Will notify the parents if we arrive earlier or later.

WHAT TO BRING:

Bible, sleeping bag, air mattress, pillow, set of work clothes (that can get dirty), clothes for 6 days, toiletries, towels, bathing suit, camera, and any extra spending money you may want for souvenirs.

ITINERARY

Wednesday – Driving all day!
Thursday: Six Flags
Friday: Work at ACC and visit Stone Mountain
Saturday: Work at Christian City and visit the World of Coke
Sunday: Attend services at Jesus Place and serve there then visit the Lake.
Monday: Return home!

Kids Church Pool Party
